Help!

Since the wedding and the aftermath of the wedding have finally died, it's been time to focus on other things. A very big piece of that is our house. So much of it has been left half finished or not touched at all. One of the unfinished(but REALLY close) rooms is our kitchen. Part of the reason it has remained stagnant is because we couldn't decide on artwork or a theme in general. You all have probably seen my kitchen before. We have cow potholders, a ratatouille clock, Darth Tater on display, and our paper towel holder is an elephant. We're kind of all over the place.

A few months ago we decided on a theme - CEREAL. I can't wait until we get some of the decorations up so I can share them... but this blog is about something in particular. We need help. Cereal themed decorations are pretty much non-existent(go figure), so when we find something we like or come up with an idea, it's amazing. I've found one cereal related piece of artwork. One.

I got so excited that I wanted to buy them right then, but I decided to wait until I got home from work so I could show it to Bryan first. Well... the listing was gone by then. Luckily, it was on Etsy so I was able to message the shop owner and she was willing to make us another set! Herein lies the problem - she gave us options! WHY?! She should have just said, "Ok. I'll make this set for you. I'll have a listing up for you soon." Instead, she said, do you want the monsters, snap crackle and pop, toucan Sam, Trix rabbit, etc. Ugh!

While we love the monsters, we were afraid that Frankenberry and Booberry weren't easily recognizable to most. So, we contemplated getting other characters but we couldn't choose! Bryan has literally stopped talking to me about it. He can't decide so he's tried to ignore my questioning in order to force me into making a decision. Here's where I need your help. What do you guys think would be amazing?

- Just go with the monsters. They're fun, most people will recognize them, and you've already seen the finished product!

- Go with Snap, Crackle, and Pop. They're adorable!

- Choose random characters! We already have Cap'n Crunch and Sonny the cuckoo bird, so the choices would likely be between Lucky the Leprechaun, Toucan Sam, Trix Rabbit, the Honey Bee from Honey Nut Cheerios, and Tony the Tiger.

I'm on the Snap, Crackle, and Pop team... but then again the Trix rabbit and Tucan Sam are hard to pass up.

I've been seeing more and more of the vintage boxes popping up at the grocery store.. it might be cool to snag them whenever you see them and then frame the front of the boxes is cool frames. You could have like a whole wall of them or just spread them out throughout the kitchen.

You should know I'm so jelous of your guys' kitchen size. That would be my favorite room to decorate if I had your house!

Lol! That's so funny! Before we saw them in stores we actually bought cereal boxes off of eBay from the 80's and 90's and were going to frame them. We just got two for now because there are two main spaces we're looking to fill.
